The location of the transshipment yards is carried out empirically, based on the experience of each field leader, and the location decision does not favor the best performance of the machines.

Come discuss with us:

How important is the location of your transshipment yard?

How does this decision affect the results?

What to prioritize: the truck or the transshipment set?

Is it possible to reduce displacements?

In this chat we will receive:

João Umbiruçu: Master in Logistics Systems Engineering at Escola Politécnica da USP - Data Processing Technologist at Fatec. He worked for 9 years at the Coopersucar Technology Center developing and implementing projects for fleet control systems and labor - operators, for equipment evaluation systems and fleet dimensioning systems.

Since 1998, he has been working as a Logistics Consultant, with a strong presence in CCT (Cutting, Loading and Transporting sugarcane).

Hermógenes Machado : Master in Agricultural Engineering from the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering at UNICAMP, agronomist from ESACMA. He worked for 9 years as Technical Manager of Geotechnology, responsible for the areas of geotechnology and topography, ensuring the control and monitoring of biological assets - GIS, Dashboards, WebMaps, Integrated Mobile Applications.

He worked for 7 years at the Sugarcane Technology Center implementing and developing projects with CTCSat and works as a consultant in the field of Geotechnology and Agricultural Processes.

Octavio Antonio Valsechi (Vico), coordinator of the MTA (Master of Technology Administration) in Sugar-Energy Industrial Management , Agronomist, Master in Food Science and Technology and Doctor in Biological Sciences in the concentration area in Applied Microbiology, Associate Professor in the Department of Technology Agroindustrial and Rural Economy Partner at the Center for Agricultural Sciences at UFSCar and consultant at the UN for the sugar-energy chain.

This event is a partnership between Bio Energy Hub and Agromizer

Agromizer is a startup created at the Bio Energy Hub in 2021, with over 20 years' expertise in the sugar-energy sector in the areas of CCT (Slicing, Loading and Transport), geotechnologies and information technology.

Its platform uses geoprocessing, financial mathematics and artificial intelligence to carry out micro-planning of the harvest, defining the best location for installing the transshipment yards.

It is a SaaS (software as a service) platform where you do not need to purchase software and consulting services, and only pay for the optimized area.
