Fernanda Torós is Founder & CEO of WeSpline and Professor of "Startups and Entrepreneurship" by the Department of Economics at PUC-Rio. Previously, she was founder and portfolio manager of Sabra Capital, where she managed equity funds. She has worked for over 10 years in the financial market and industry, having worked at Oren Investimentos, Nest Investimentos, Leblon Equities, IP, Credit Suisse and AmBev. At the Academy, she was a professor/researcher at Virginia Tech and a professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). Fernanda has a PhD in Economics and a Master in Finance from UIUC and a Bachelor and Master in Economics from PUC-Rio.
